Welcome to my blog!
In 2012 I took on this Great Challenge to turn my life around, starting with the organization of my home. After years struggling with creating workable/manageable routines and efficiency, I realized that I simply could no longer be a slave to my own home. Despite my working full-time, I took on one project at a time and shared my progress with you. I had highs and I had lows. Sometimes my ideas amazed my own self, sometimes they put me to shame. It's now 2021 and I am nowhere near done. Why?
In 2012 I took on this Great Challenge to turn my life around, starting with the organization of my home. After years struggling with creating workable/manageable routines and efficiency, I realized that I simply could no longer be a slave to my own home. Despite my working full-time, I took on one project at a time and shared my progress with you. I had highs and I had lows. Sometimes my ideas amazed my own self, sometimes they put me to shame. It's now 2021 and I am nowhere near done. Why?
Because I am naturally distracted and very disorganized, so cleaning has never been a priority, I would much rather get busy with weird projects and so you can imagine that taking on this journey has stretched every fiber of my body. For some odd reason, I persevere because I know that change is a process and not an event. Sometimes, I just need to declutter the same area 15 times before I can claim victory!
I simply love sharing my ideas and projects with you and am always looking forward to creating something new (and challenging) to better my home environment and overall sense of well-being.
Over the years, I have met some great people and formed amazing friendships with many of my subscribers. I would like to think that I have built a micro community of like minded folks who equally struggle with keeping house. I think it very refreshing to know I am not alone on this journey.
I thank you for taking this journey with me, MGC is a growing community and I would never be here today, if it were not for all my subscribers.

The least you need to know:
I was born and raised in France, came to the US as a foreign student in 1992 and became a US Citizen in 2013.
I am a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor with a dual Degree in Forensic Psychology. I currently work full time as a Supervisor and Clinician in Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
I have many interests: vintage and antiques, collecting, sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and I love a good road trip filled with mom & pop shops and great scenery.
I married Scott in 2000 and we have two sons, Edward (2002) and William (2007).
My family is my biggest pride and joy, my everything.
Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to getting to know me.
